MAC lipstick review

I must confess that for a long time now I wanted to try the products of MAC. Their lipsticks are very soft and creamy. There are tons of colors you can choose from. Simply loved it.


Devo confessar que há muito queria experimentar os produtos da MAC. O resultado está à vista, batons muito cremosos e suaves. Existe uma vasta gama de cores. Este tom tende para um roxo/rosa. Simplesmente adorei.

Mug Orange Chocolate Cake (Bolo de laranja e chocolate na caneca)

Today I felt the need of indulge myself with something sweet. It's cold and rainy outside. So I decided to do something that is super easy to do and wouldn't take that much time....It's was time to bake the mug cake. I wanted to combine orange and chocolate in order to soften the chocolate flavor.

Está frio e chuvoso lá fora por isso senti a necessidade de me mimar com algo docinho....mas que fosse fácil e rápido de fazer. Decidi fazer o bolo da caneca. Decidi combinar a laranja com o chocolate para que o sabor do chocolate não fosse tão intenso.

Ingredients:

1 egg

1 orange (and it's zest)

3 tbsp of flour

3 tbsp of sugar

1 tbsp of powder chocolate

1/3 tbsp of butter

a large mug

some whipping cream

Ingredientes:

1 ovo

1 laranja (e as suas raspas)

3 c.s. farinha

3 c.s. açúcar

1 c.s. de chocolate em pó

1/3 c.s. de manteiga

1 caneca larga

um pouco de natas (q.b.) para bater

Start adding to the mug the flour, the powder chocolate and the sugar. Mix until it's all blended. Then add the butter, the egg and the juice of only 1/2 orange and mix it again. Put the mug in the microwave for the 2-3 minutes on maximum power. 

Comecem por adicionar à caneca a farinha, o chocolate em pó (usei o da nestlé) e o açúcar. Mexer até ficar tudo bem misturado. Depois é só juntar a manteiga, os ovos e o sumo de 1/2 laranja e mexer tudo novamente. Após isto é só colocar a caneca no microondas por 2-3 min no microondas (na potência máxima).

In the end add the juice of the remaining 1/2 orange on the top of the cake and add the whipping cream. To adorn it and give more flavor add the orange zest.

No final espremam o sumo da restante 1/2 laranja por cima do bolo e batam as natas ou adicionem chantilly. Para decorar coloquem as raspas de laranja. Já está.

KIKO Velvet Stick Blush

The other day I went to the shopping and I saw a huge crowd at the KIKO store. The reason? A huge variety of product in sale. I decided to buy this stick blush. It's not a new product but nevertheless I decided to share my opinion about it.

Outro dia andava pelo shopping quando me deparei com bastantes pessoas na KIKO. Decidi entrar e estava tudo explicado. A razão? Uma variedade de produtos em promoção. Acabei por comprar este blush em estilo de baton. O produto já não é novo mas decidi partilhar com vocês a minha opinião.

KIKO Velvet Stick Blush: 3,90€ with 50% discount (before 7.90€)

There are several shades you can choose from. (From the more soft ones like the "pinkies" and "peaches" to the darker ones). You can still find some of these shades on the KIKO's online store. 
The colour of this blush is the "03 Absolute Mauve" and I couldn't find it at the online store.


Existem vários tons diferentes desde o rosa mais clarinho, o pessego 
até tons mais acastanhados. No site da KIKO ainda se consegue encontrar alguns destes tons como o "Charming Peach", "Cadillac Pink", "Verve Peony" and "Select Expresso".
A cor deste blush é a "03 Absolute Mauve" e apesar de não encontrar no site da KIKO acredito que ainda haja nas lojas.

It's very easy to apply the blush...it's just like a lipstick but you use it on your cheekbones. After it you just need to spread and blend it with your fingers. 

This colour is more a peachy pink. If you just use it one time the colour it will be very very soft and you won't notice it. On the other side if you use it on your cheek like 5 times in a row the colour will be very pronounced (without excesses). It adapts really well to more fair and light skins. I really liked the final result.

The price is with 50% discount, costing 3.90€ instead of the usual price of 7.90€. For me the best part of this blush is the fact that you don't need a brush, you just need your fingers.




O modo de aplicação é bastante fácil, basta apenas passar o bastão nas maçãs do rosto como se fosse um baton. Depois é só esbater com os dedos. 

Relativamente a cor do blush é um rosa mais "apessegado" e escuro muito bonito. Passando apenas uma vez quase nem se nota, contudo passando uma 5 vezes já fica bem nítida a cor. Adapta-se bem a peles clarinhas sem ficar demasiado exagerado.
Eu gostei bastante do resultado final. 

O preço está com 50% de desconto, custando 3.90€ ao invés dos habituais 7.90€. A melhor parte (além do preço) é que não é necessário nenhum pincel para aplicar o blush.
